		Welcome Davies Guitar Co. is a small company specialising in fine hand made acoustic guitars and high quality custom electric guitars. Annual production figures are relatively low as all instruments are built entirely by hand using the finest materials, hardware and finishes available. Time honoured techniques with a modern slant - At Davies Guitar.Co we use the time tested traditional luthiery techniques of many of the well known pre-war makers. However each Davies Guitar incorporates a number of our own design features and developments as we strive to make instruments that are stronger, lighter and have increased playability with greater tone generation and sound projection. Tailored specification for optimum voicing - Each instrument is made to the individual customers specification arrived at through personal discussion and consultation. This is a very important aspect of production since the playing style and string gauge greatly affects the voicing of each soundboard.

		John Renbourn John has long favoured OM's for his delicate, expressive and creative finger style playing and has recently taken delivery of a Davies OM type 28 rio. Recently embarking on a 60 day tour of North America John has exclusively used his new Davies OM which was constructed after consultation and discussion. < Go To Artist Page >
