Guitar Co is run by Alvin Davies. An
experienced guitar maker Alvin made his first guitar at the age of 14 under the
guidance of a local violin maker. Going
on to train for 4 years under the guidance of Czech luthier Herbie Swartz specialising
in steel string and jazz guitars. Alvin
now concentrates on making bespoke high end instruments for the discerning customer.
Settling on a small niche market of instruments embodying the features and character
of many finely constructed and fine sounding instruments. Eco
Friendly.
Davies
Guitar Co. operates an environmentally friendly materials policy. Materials
are only selected from sustainable farmed forests and reclaimed wood
will be used whenever available. Mammoth
fossil ivory is used on all instruments and is the ultimate environmentally
friendly bone product available today. |
